Number 25 - Progress

Well, today I spoke to a Lindsay Evans at Torbay City Council.  She was extremely helpful and I was really pleased to discover that I don't have to be a resident of Torbay to make this happen.  (Thought for a moment that I may have to become Jolyon's B F Brother's lodger).

I wanted to find out how much choice we have over the location of Dad's bench.  I suggested 2 locations as holding particular memories of happy times with our Dad and she did some research on my behalf and discovered that there are 2 undedicated benches overlooking Paignton Harbour.  I am so thrilled about this as this is a place where I spent a lot of time with Dad crabbing in the rockpools, looking at the names on the boats, visiting the aquarium and watching out for Chalky White (trust me on that one) we also consumed many cream teas at the Toby Jug.

So, am meeting with Arline on Friday to look at the plan and to compose the message for Dad.
We have progress!

Potentially the view from Dad's bench.
