Penny-Lope and I , together again! Older, wiser, significantly more haggard, sharing red wine and memories and grim tales of the toll that having children takes on your body!
Our beautiful daughters; Arden & Daisy. They struck up an instant friendship based upon dressing up and the merits of flapjacks over muffins. So like their Mums :-)

We shared many memories last night over red wine and pasta; the leaf cutter bees, the pencil museum(!), sampling the bar staff (that would be Penny who got locked out of the YHA), Malham moments, the restaurant where they foolishly asked us to pay what we believed our meal to be worth, being thrown out of a Weatherspoons pub, the ouija board, the knife and the council estate and "hey Big Spender'
Penny left with a solemn vow that we will get together again soon.
Renewing old friendships ROCKS!!! I can feel another coming on before the year is out!

Just reading all that again made me chuckle!!! Not sure you will have time this 40th year to do it again, but after you have had what sounds like your year of fun, fun, fun then we will get together soon!!! Need more time to read the rest of your adventures, will be back xxxx
